Thanks for taking the time to look at what giving at Good News Church looks like. We’re fortunate to have a history of generous people who leverage what they have so that others can experience and express the essence of Jesus.
You can’t out give God. We don’t shy away from talking about giving back to God a portion of what originally came from Him. You may have heard that “it’s better to give than receive.” We believe “it’s better to give back some of what you receive.” God doesn’t want your money – He wants all of you.
Jesus made it clear that how we use our money is a reflection of the values of our hearts. Being generous with the things God has given to you to manage is a matter of simple obedience to God. Obedience is good for us. It kicks in a sweet dynamic where God’s tangible and intangible favor comes to us. When you give, you enable Good News Church to reach more people with the life-changing message of Jesus. Marriages are strengthened, families brought closer together, purpose is discovered, souls are saved, and people engage the adventure of walking out God’s best for them. In short, your faithful giving creates places where you, your family, and your friends can experience Jesus.
Steps to Register
1. Click on the “Give Online Now” button above.
2. If you haven’t created an account, please click on the “First Time?” link and fill out the requested fields to create your account. [If you’re creating an account, we suggest you use the email address the church has on record. That will link your giving to the profile that has been set-up for your household. If you don’t have a profile with us yet, follow the onscreen instructions to create one.]
3. If you’d prefer to give WITHOUT creating an account, click the “Quick Give” link.
4. Follow the instructions on your screen to complete your transaction.
Once you’ve created/linked to your profile, you will be able to schedule your contributions and view your past contributions to Good News Church. Scheduling your contributions is a great way to ensure you don’t miss the opportunity to give while you’re out of town or away during the summer months.
Text Giving
Text Giving is one of the EASIEST ways to give! Simply text the dollar amount to 706-309-6187. The first time you do so, you will be given a link to set-up your payment method. Each time after that, you will only need to enter the dollar amount for your gift. If you’d like to give to a specific fund, type FUNDS to see the complete list. Then text in your dollar amount with the fund designation code following (e.g. $10 Guest Minister). That’s it!
Mail it In
The offering envelope in your bulletin is a postage-paid way for you to mail in your offering when you are away. Simply drop in your offering card or check and pop it in the mail.
You may also choose to use the automated “bill-pay” feature that is provided by your bank. This feature allows you to have your gift mailed directly to the church. If you choose this option, have your gift mailed to:

Giving in our Services
During our services on Sundays and Wednesdays, we provide a time for people to worship through giving. To give by check, make it payable to “Good News Church.” To give via debit/credit card, fill out the yellow card in your bulletin, seal it in the envelope, and drop it in the offering basket. To give by cash and receive a receipt for your gift, fill out the yellow card, seal it and the cash in the envelope.
Whether you give online, via text, mail it in, or give during the service, our hope is that you will use your faith and link your giving to your worship of God.
SECURITY NOTE: Your information is held securely by the GNC Business Office and Easy Tithe system. This information will remain private and will never be given away to third parties, other than to process your scheduled contributions.
You can schedule new contributions at any time and can modify or cancel those contributions at any time prior to the date they are scheduled. Once the contribution has been processed, however, it cannot be cancelled.
